HITE has developed modules for Meaningful Use that includes extensive working on CQM and reporting for regulations purposes. We have already developed CQM reporting modules for Professionals and Hospitals, using different NQS domains (National Quality Strategy Domains). We have already developed software components for various EMR/EHR systems to generate Quality Reporting Document Architecture (QRDA) files (QRDA Category 1 and QRDA Category 3). The files, generated by our software component, are validated using different validating accounts, such as Cypress account.
Clinical Quality Measures (CQM) are tools that are used by Eligible Professionals (EPs), Eligible Hospitals, and Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) to measure and track the quality of provided healthcare services to patients. CQM focuses on different aspects of patient care, such as:
- Health Outcomes.
- Clinical Processes.
- Patient Safety.
- Efficient Use Of Healthcare Resources.
- Care Coordination.
- Patient Engagements.
- Population And Public Health.
- Adherence To Clinical Guidelines.
The major objective of measuring and reporting CQM is to ensure that the health system is providing efficient, Patient-centric, safe, effective, timely, and equitable care. They are also used for getting Meaningful Use Stage 2 certification.
